Top Hair Masks

Now that the cold weather on its way, I thought it was a good time to talk about some hair masks. With all the stress we put out hair through, from heat styling to colouring, its importsnt to give it a little TLC. Hair masks are one of my essential haircare products during the winter to keep my hair healthy, strong and hydrated.

Redken Extreme Length Primer Treatment is a five minute conditioning treatment infused with biotin to help you achieve maximum hair length and strengthen the hair. I tend to use this once a week as a mini treatment. It doesnt take any longer than conditioning like usual, but has extra hydration.

Another quick treatment is the Its A 10 Five Minute Hair Repair For Blondes. Of course as the name suggests, this is a mask for blondes to enhance their colour, and help remove yellow or brassy tones. It also adds shine and leaves the hair soft and smelling lovely.

For a deeper treatment, the Macadamia Deep Repair Mask helps to reconstruct the hair, rebuilding damage and improve elasticity and shine.

Matrix Biolage Hydrasource Conditioning Balm is probably top on my lists of masks. If you have dry hair, or tangly hair, this stuff will be your best friend. It conditions, detangles and gives up to fifteen times more moisture. This is a great mask for colour treated hair, and fighting frizz aswell. If your going to try one thing from this list, I highly recommend this one.

I hope you enjoyed my top masks, and if you have any favourites of your own feel free to share them below.

September Favourites

joe fresh daily boost, becca champagne pop, flower child, bare minerals gen nude infamous, milani creme nude, redken anti frizz milk

What a crazy month this has been, good and bad. There are a ton of new things I've been using and loving lately, so here they are.

Joe Fresh Daily Boost Fluid Foundation
I bought this on a total whim, having heard absolutely nothing about the brands new makeup range. This foundation is meant give a glow to the skin, and of course that always what I look for in my base products. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I've been enjoying this. It gives just enough coverage for me and gives a nice dewy, fresh look to the skin.

Becca Champagne Splits Champagne Pop/FlowerChild
I was wanting to try Champagne Pop for a while but didnt really want to spend the money on a highlighter, until I saw this little highlgihter/blush duo. Champagne Pop is the prettiest golden champagne colour, and Flowerchild is a nice peachy pink shade as well, though I dont use the blush nearly as much.

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Liquid Lipstick 'Infamous'
I like the liquid lipstick look, but on me I just find most formulas too dry and accentuate any and all dryness on my lips. But this one is great because it feels smooth on the lips, and there are some great colours. Infamous is a great everyday wearable colour for me, a kind of dusky pink.

Milani Creme Nude Lipstick
Im not sure what these are called exactly, but this shade is lovely. As the name suggests, its a nude pink, super creamy and comfortable on the lips and it also smells like candy!

Annabelle Creme Caramel Eyeshadow Trio
Ive been wearing this almost everyday because its just so easy. All three colours are lovely and go well together.

Mac Peachtwist Blush
As always, I bring out this blush when the weather is starting to cool down. It is the perfect fall blush- a kind if burnt orange with some gold shimmer to give the skin a bit of a glow. If you havent tried this one please do checkit out because it doesnt get enough recognition in my opinion.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Mad Max
Ive been a black liquid liner since the ninth grade. I never really used any other colours but when I got this little 500 point perk from Sephora of Kat Von D products, and this mini liner was in there in a brown shade, I thought I better give a try. To my surprise, I liked it so much that Ive been using it more than my traditional black liner! The applicator is different to me, being more like a brush than a felt tip like I would usually use, but its easy to apply and get a thin line. I have a feeling Ill end up buying this one when I run out.

Redken Anti Frizz Polishing Milk
There is nothing I hate more than frizzy hair, so this stuff is a life saver. Its a cream consistency that you apply to wet hair and style as you like. I find if I blowdry my hair it smooths everything out nicely, but also if I just let it air dry with my natural, frizzy waves, it tames it and also does something for the waves. Love this stuff I already have a backup.

A Drugstore Haul

drugstore, milani prime perfection, lipstick nude creme, elf brush, loreal nude attraction,
Everytime I run into the drugstore for one thing, which I usually end up foregetting in the end, I leave with a handful of new goodies to try that I really don't need. This was no exception, but hey ho, who doesn't love new thing right?

MY drugstore just started stocking Milani and Elf products, so of course I had to get something. The Elf Ultimate Blending Brush looked like it would be really nice for foundation application. The bristles are super soft and its dense enough that I think it would work really well. I'll keep you posted. As for Milani, I was a little overwhelmed with all the blushes I've been wanting to try for years, so I decided to wait on those and ended up with a primer instead. The Prime Perfection Hydrating and Pore Minimizing primer feels nice smooth on the skin from what I've tried just on the back of my hand , and doesn't have tht awful silicone feel that I can't stand. I look forward to trying this one. I also picked out a typical pinky peach shade in Nude Creme that I know I'm going to love.

I also decided to try one of the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Glosses in Bare Attraction. I know I wouldn't wear any of the other shades because they're more bold than what I tend to go for, but this nude shade looked really nice for fall. It looks like this is one that has that matte look, but doesn't completely dry down and make your lips look majprly dehydrated.

I found the Provoke Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo, which Ive been interested in trying but could never find in my area. I hear so many blondies loving this shampoo to tone help tone any brassiness out of their hair and never tried this one, so I thought Id give it a go. And lastly, I picked up another Kylie Sinful Colours Nailpolish because I think there are some great colours in the collection. This plum shade with a gold shimmer through it is called Krushed Velvet, which is going to be great for fall time aswell.

Thats everything I picked up! Have you done some drugstore shopping lately? What did you pick up, or what do you recommend me get next time?

August Favourites

Loreal lumi foundaion, annabelle blush hibiscus, bronzed, clinique chubby stick hi lighter, revlon ultra volume mascara, bath and bosy works white peach and sangria, b&bw

This month has flown by! It was my 24th birthday, my daughter turned two just yesterday, and other than that I honestly don't remember a lot about this month. The whole summer went so fast, I can't believe we're going into September and fall is on its way already! Anyway enough of my rambling, here's what Ive been loving this month.

I love a good glowy foundation (as I've said many a times on the blog), and the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation has been a go to lately. I had a hard time finding a good shade match so the one I have is a little too dark, and I tend to mix it with another foundation to lighten the colour a bit. I either use the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue or Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. Both do enough to lighten it up and leave a gorgeous glow to the skin.  I don't always feel I need a highlighter with this foundation as its quite luminous on its own, but the Clinique Chubby Stick Highlight is what Ive been going for lately. I've had this a while and never really used it until lately. I like the consistency of it- I just use my finger to tap it on and it looks really pretty.

For blush, Ive been using these two from Annabelle that I bought during the month. They are both great colours for summer, as they have a little bit of shimmer in them which looks really pretty on the skin, especially when the light hits it. Golden Bronze is a little more everyday rosey pink shade, whereas Hibiscus is a apricot peach, which screams spring and summer to me.

A new mascara Ive been using is the Revlon Ultra Volume. I wasnt sure which one to try from the range they have, but volume is usually the number one thing I look for in a mascara. I love how this separates my lashes and does make them look quite full, but I wouldnt say it was the best.

Lastly I have a scent Ive been loving from Bath and Body Works. The Be Happy White Peach and Sangria Body Mist is so addictive to me. I just love anything peach scented, but this is amazing. With white peach nectar, tangarine and prosecco this scent is so good I almost want to eat it. I believe this is limited to summer time only so snatch it up if your interested before theyre all gone!

Annabelle Blushes

I love finding products I love that are also affordable, who doesn't right? So I thought I would share with you these blushes from Annabelle that I am currently really enjoying.

If you're not familiar with Annabelle, they are a canadian drugstore makeup brand. Their liquid liner was a makeup staple when I was in highschool, but right now its their blushes that I'm obsessed with. They have great colour payoff, a nice selection of colours and are around the ten dollar mark. I have three colours and I love all of them.

Rosewood was the first shade I tried, a few years back and still use quite frequently. It is a lovely rosey pink shade that goes with anything and everything. I feel this would suit most skin tones. I find this one to use with light handed, or youll have some clown cheeks going on.

Golden Bronze is a new favourite. Im not sure about the name as I dont really find it to be golden, but more of a dusky pink with a bit of a sheen. This really warms up my skin and gives me a glowing look which is always nice. I think this may be my favourite of the three.

Hibiscus is a gorgeous peachy apricot shade. It also has a bit of a sheen to it, and I've been loving this one for summer time. Peachy shades are my jam this time of year so this has been getting a lot of wear right now.

Have you tried Annabelle's blushes before? Or any of their other products? Any recommendations are always welcome!

Most Reached For Products

most reached for pruducts, favourites, most used, bare minerals complexion rescue, mac dervish, blush all day, nars radiant concealer, sheer glow, brow stylist liner, laura mercier radiance 01

I thought I would share with you some of my most reached for products. These are the foolproof things I grab when I want to use something that I know will look good.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is probably my favourite for a good base. It has medium coverage, leaves a dewy glow to my skin which is a must for me, and is a really good colour match for my skintone. My only complaint is that it isn't exactly the cheapest of products to buy. For day to day, or when I want something lighter on my skin, I go for Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. This is new to my collection but very quickly became something I gravitated towards over others. It gives jsut enough coverage for everyday, with a nice healthy glow to the skin. It also is great mixed in with other foundations to give more of a dewy look to the skin. Basically, I'm in love with this stuff.

I'm definitely a blush lover but there are two I tend to use most days out of the week. Mac Blush All Day is an all time fav and lately is basically all I've been using. Its a great pinky mauve shade that looks great with anything. Nars Sin is another one I use quite a bit when I want something that I know looks good. This one is definitely different from other blushes I have as its more of a plum mauve shade with a little gold shimmer through it. I tend to use it more in the colder months though it does look great anytime of year.

Highlighter are a newer thing for me. I have a few but nothing is quite like the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Powder in 01. I think what makes it my perfect highlighter is the fact that it isnt too in your face like most highlighters are. Its mmore subtle on the skin, but gives a nice glow to my skin while looking quite natural still. Or as natural as a highlighter could look anyway.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is another newer favourite of mine. I had bought a mini size of this a few months back and wasn't instantly in love. I expressed this in a blogpost where my initial thoughts were that it was too dry under my eyes, but after a few uses my opinion completely changed and I used up that mini tube faster than I could have expected and needed to get my hands on a full size. Of course it wasnt available for sometime and no other concealer looked quite as bright or covered as well as the Nars one. Luckily its back in my life and I havent wanted to use anything else since.

Ive really been into lining my lips lately and Mac Dervish Lipliner is my go to. I use it almost everyday, as it goes my most lip colous and looks great alone all over the lips. Its a pinky mauve shade close to my natural lip colour, which is perfect to keep in my bag with me. I've also been loving the L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer pencil for filling in the few sparse areas in my brows. I love this pencil because its retractable, so its always sharp, and it has a fine tip for easy application. Plus the spoolie on the end is really nice and handy to keep the hairs upward.

What are some of your most used products? Let me know your recommendations.

To The Last Drop #19

To The Last Drop #19, empties, trash, products, bars sheer glow radiant creamy concealer, redken shampoo conditioner butter silk smooth lock, maybelline lash sensational, lights camera lashes tart, one step cleanser clarins, makeup remover, avenue

I haven't done one of these in a while, and I've got empty bottles laying all over that I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of things here! As always, these are mini reviews of products I've used up, giving my honest opinions on what I thought of them.

Redken Smooth Lock Shampoo and Butter Silk Intensive Treatment Conditioner
This line is designed to smooth dry hair, aswell as protect against thermal heat styling. They contain almond oil which not only smells nice but made my hair feel really soft.  I loved the Butter Silk conditioner because it really moisturized my hair and left it feeling really lovely after, and I definitely noticed smoother hair with less frizz.

Avene Micellar Water Sample
I like micellars for easy makeup romaval. This one wasnt anything particularily special from any others, but it worked.

Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser Sample
Ive heard good things about this so I was excited to give this sample a go. It's a cleanser with small exfoliating beads in it that arent too abrasive, making it good for everyday use. I thought it was pretty good and will probably purchase at some point.

Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover Sample
If you read my blog, you would have seen I did a full rave review on this stuff. I think it is a fantastic quick and easy remover that gets everything off in seconds, even stubborn mascara.

Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen
I really liked this when I first started using it. It has great colour pay off and was super inexpensive at something like three bucks. But after a month or two though the applicator felt tip lost its pointy shape and became very difficult to get a smooth, thin line with. I'm not sure if I'd pick this one up again.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
This was a fantastic mascara. It made my lashes look long and full, just what I want in a mascara. I wasnt crazy about this scooped wand but otherwise, completely recommend this one if you've never tried it.

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
I'm really sad to see this one in my trash already. I was really enjoying this mascara sample until it fell off my table one day and somehow the lid around the opening broke and when I opened it, I just got a blob of product on the wand. Totally unusable now. However, it made my lashes look really full and it was so nice I'm considering picking up a full size one of these days.

Benefit That Gal Primer Sample
Ive had this little tiny sample in my makeup bag for years so I thought I should use it up. I actually thought this wasnt too bad. It brightened my skin up which was nice, but I dont think Id purchase.

Makeup Forever Step One Hydrating Primer
I really enjoyed this stuff. I liked the consistency of this the most I think. I dont like the way silicone primers feel under my makeup because I feel like if I touchmy face my makeups rubbing back off, but I never had a problem with this one. It helped everything stay in place and I couldnt feel any residue. I will for sure purchase this one.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Precision Micro Eyeliner
I wasnt a huge fan of this one. The colour payoff wasnt great- I had to go over my line two of three times to get it black and non-streaky. Dont recommend this one.

Have you finished any products lately? What were your thoughts? Do you recommend anything? Let me know!

Essence Get BIG! Lashes Triple Black Mascara

Essence Get BIG! Lashes triple black mascara review, false lash effect, affordable

Essence Get BIG! Lashes triple black mascara, flase lash effect, affordable

I love finding little hidden gems at affordable prices, and that's exactly what the Essence Get Big Lashes Triple Black Mascara is. Not only the bright purple packaging stood out to me but the name was intriguing. I love big lashes and extra black is always the way to go. It was in my shopping basket immediately.

The applicator wand is a large bristle brush, which I find really easy to use. It creates really nice volume and length and no matter how much I've used, I never get clumpy lashes. It separates the lashes, making my eyes look really open and almost gives a false lash effect. I just love the way this stuff looks and at $3.99, it's definitely not breaking the bank.

I'm dying to try some more of Essence's mascaras aswell as their other products. Have you tried this, or maybe some other Essence products you recommend? Let me know below.

Current Makeup Staples

makeup staples, loreal brow stylist, smashbox primer water, nars radiant creamy concealer, Laura mercier matte radiance 01 golden bronze

As a beauty lover, I tend to use different lip colours and eyeshadows everyday, but there are a few staples that I use everyday without fail. I thought I would share with you a few of those things.

L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer
I have been loving this lately to fill in the sparse parts of my brows, which is very different for me as I typically used a powder or tinted gel. I love that it has a spoolie brush on one end, and the actual liner is very fine and soft to use. I use the dark shade and its perfect.

Smashbox Primer Water
I'm still not 100% sure on this one, but I have been using it almost everyday. I like how simple it is to use- a few spritzes over my face, let it dry and continue on with my usual routine. I tend to use it more over top of my makeup, as I feel it helps everything to settle down and last longer throughout the day.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
I actually kinda hated this when I first got it, but after a few uses it really grew on me, and now it's actually one of my favourites. Weird how these things happen. It's a great concealer for everything. I like it under my eyes to brighten, to cover discolouration around my mouth- anything. It has a velverty texture that's easily blended in and doesn't settle into fine lines. I just love this stuff.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Powder 01
I have a deluxe sample size of this that came in a Sephora favourites set and while I've been using it almost everyday, I have yet to make a dent in it. This is the perfect everyday highlighter for me because it's not super shimmery and in your face. It gives a really pretty but natural looking glow to
the skin.

Those are my current makeup staples. What have you been loving lately?

Nivea Express Makeup Remover

You may remember a few months ago I was raving about another makeup remover from Clarins (which I still love), but this one is virtually the same thing at a fraction of the price.

This bi-phase remover contains cornflower to remove even the toughest of mascara without any irritation. Just shake the two layers together to make a cloudy blue colour, pour onto a cotton pad and hold onto your eyes for a few seconds and swipe away. It really is that easy and really does work. It does not irritate my eyes whatsoever, and I do tend to be sensitive to some eye makeup remover products, so no worries there. The best part for me is that its really easily accessible and is under $10.

Have you tried the Nivea Express Remover? Let me know your thoughts, or what you use to remove your eye makeup below!

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

L'oreal Infallible pro matte foundation, base, demi matte finish

I'm a littla late on the bandwaggon with this one, but honestly I was unsure whether it would be a good foundation for me. Plus, it wasn't exactly cheap for a drugstore product. I've seen it as high as $22.99, but found it in walmart for $16 which is a little more reasonable to me.

L'Oreal claim this foundation to be a demi-matte finish. I usually steer clear of the word matte as I have drier skin and dewy, glowing skin is usually what I need. I saw so many people that didn't have oily skin use and love this foundation though, so I was very interested in seeing what it's like. I got the shade 104 Shell Beige, which is actually a shade too dark for me but with a little fake tan on, I can make it work. It blends really nicely and has good coverage, but still feels lightweight on the skin. It covered redness and discolouration around my mouth, which I normally need concealer for.

My skin isn't at it's best at the moment, being dry and having a breakout on my forehead, yet it still looked quite nice and didn't cling to any dry spots. I even got a compliment from my boyfriend who asked if something was different with my face. It took me a minute to realize he meant my skin looked nice and of course it was from this foundation. I wish there was more of a glow to the finish, but I am pleasantly surprised with this one. I wouldn't say it was a new favourite, but it is a good option from the drugstore if you want a foundation with some coverage.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream
If you're looking to for a hydrating dewy base, this is one for you. The Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream is a bb, cc and tinted moisturizer in one. It has the benefits of hydrating skincare with dewy, sheer to medium coverage.

As someone with dry skin and always in search of glowing products, I was interested in giving this a try. Bare Minerals claim it will provide increased skin hydration after one week. I don't know if my skin is more hydrated after using this, but it definitely looks smoother, and has a nice natural glow to it. Most importantly, my skin doesn't look like it's flaking off like it does with heavier foundations. This isn't always enough coverage for me, so I do mix in a bit of a heavier coverage foundation and still find it gives a great appearance to the skin.

This has become a favourite of mine and think it's a great everyday base as someone who doesn't need a lot of coverage. I can see myself using this a ton in the warmer months coming up for sure. There is a great shade selection and won't break the bank considering it's a high end makeup brand.

What's In My Shower

redken smooth lock shampoo, conditioner, butter silk, so silver purple shampoo, its a 10 blondes mask

I haven't shared my current shower products in a while, so I thought I would do so today. This is forever changing as I'm always trying new things, but here's the current line up.

Redken Smooth Lock Shampoo and Conditioner
These are aimed to smooth frizz dry, unruly hair. With macademia oil it helps to keep a long-lasting smooth, moisturized finish to the hair. I like the Butter Silk Conditioner, and find it helps with frizz and leaves my hair really soft.

Matrix Total Results So Silver Purple Shampoo
Since hilighting my hair, I like to use purple shampoo every other wash or so. This works as a toner to rid any brassy tones in the hair. I don't really like this particular one as i find it really drying on my hair. I tend to use a little squirt with the redken shampoo to help keep my hair from feeling like straw.

Its a 10 Five Minute Repair Mask For Blondes
I've only recently got this one, but so far so good. This is a conditioning treatment targeted towards blondes with a purple tint. It only needs to be left on five minutes, though I leave it a little longer sometimes for extra moisture. I dont think this does a lot to enhance the colour, but it does make my hair feel really soft after. Also it smells really nice.

Be Better Dusk To Dawn Body Wash
This has a nice warm scent of golden amber and precious myrrh. nothing overly special about this one but it smells nice and doesnt dry my skin out.

Clarins Makeup Remover

Clarins isn't a brand I've tried too many products from, but they have a few hidden gems, their Instant Eye Makeup Remover being one of them. I never would have tried this if I hadn't gotten a mini bottle in Clarins advent calendar. This was definitely my favourite thing in there.

This is the best makeup remover I've ever used. It's name is very fitting as it removes all my eyeliner and heavy mascara in no time at all. Its very gentle on the eyes and doesn't dry out my skin, which is of course very important. It's formulated with calming organic plant extracts to help do so. It is a dual phase formula, which is why you see two colours in the bottle. You shake the bottle to mix the two together, apply to a cotton pad and gently sweep across the eye. It takes all my makeup off, including my mascara, which usually takes a few tries with other products like cleansing oils.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well this stuff works. It's quick and efficient and I've yet to find something that works as well as this. It is a bit higher on the price tag at $29, but it is definitely worth it as you dont need a lot to get good results. I would highly recommend giving this a try if you're a heavy makeup wearer in need of a makeup remover. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

An In-Shower Moisturizer?

Ive been hearing about this Nivea In Shower Moisturizer for a while and always thought it was a neat concept, but does it really work? I found some samples in magazines, so I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised, so I picked up a bottle when I finally was able to find it in store. For some reason it was a little hard to get a hold of. There are three formulas; nourishing body milk for dry to very dry skin, smooth replenishing body lotion for dry skin, and hydrating body lotion for normal to dry skin. I went for the body milk and my skin can get fairly dry and uncomfortable.

Essentially, the purpose of the product is to save time. Apply your moisturizer while still in the shower- sounds like a weird way of doing things, which I think is why its so intriguing. You wash as usual, apply to wet skin, rinse, dry off and continue on with your day. It does work- I did feel moisturized and didn't get the tight skin feeling after showering. I think it's great for busy mornings or  when it's absolutely freezing and you don't want to stand there naked while you apply your cold body lotions. But I think I still prefer to do things the old fashioned way. I feel like I get more out of it that way, and don't mind the extra few minutes. But definitely on days in a rush, this stuff comes out and I do really like it.

Have you tried this? What's your opinion on it? Let me know in the comments below!

January Favourites

Wow, this month has flown by. I can't believe its February already. I've been using some things that I'm really enjoying lately. Some new, some not. First off I've been really into lipliner lately. I'm not a fan of my lip shape, and I have freckles along the top that make my upper lip look pointed when it's not. So I've been using lipliner to slightly change the shape, but it still looks really natural and helps my lipstick to last longer aswell. The Nyx Retractable Liner in Nude is perfect for everyday because its more of a nude shade, so it can go with any lip colour. Mac Dervish is another favourite because it can be used alone all over the lips with a bit of lipbalm overtop for a really pretty mauvey pink shade. It works well with most lipsticks aswell.

I've also been really enjoying my Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. Ive been using this almost everyday, which was the plan since it wasnt exactly cheap. Ive used most of the shades in there and think they are great colours for me. For hilight, I've been loving the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in 01. This is the mini I got in a Sephora set and I'm glad it was in there because I never would have tried it otherwise. This is the perfect day to day hilighter because it isn't over-the-top, theres no sparkle or crazy shimmer. Just the perfect glow to the skin. Love it. You need to try it.

Probably my favourite product I discovered in mid December actually, was the Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover. This stuff is amazing. I was using cleansing oils and micellar waters to remove my makeup and spending too much time trying to get my mascara off. One swipe on a cotton pad of this stuff across the eye and all my eye makeup is dissolved. I was amazed from the small sample size I had that I had to run out ad grab a bottle immediately before I ran out. Nothings ever been quite as quick and easy as this stuff. Full review post to come!

Lastly is a nail colour. I've been trying really hard not to bite my nails and my favourite colour lately is Essie's No More Film. Its such a nice deep plum shade that looks so glossy on the nails. I had someone ask if I had shellac done but no, it was just this with Seche Vite overtop. I've been repainting it over and over because it just looks so nice.

Those are all my favourites from January. Let me know what you've been loving below. Also, I know I've been a bit MIA lately on here, but I'm hoping to change that and have a lot more posts up from now on!

Soap and Glory are a fun brand with a range of body, skincare and makeup. At the holiday season they come out with some awesome gift sets and of course I had to pick one up. I've only tried a few things from the brand so I was quite excited to give this Bright and Bubbly set a try.

Have you used anything from Soap & Glory? What's your favourite product?

Lush Yognog Bathbomb

Lush Yognog, lushie, lush bath bomb, bahtbomb, bathWhen the holiday season comes around, I get super excited because it means all the fun Christmassy products are out. My favourites scents come out at this time which makes bath time super fun.

Yognog was a new one for me to try, with clove bud oil, soy milk powder and shea butter. Its supposed to have a toffee scent but Im not sure about that. It did smell nice though. It made the water yellow, which isnt the prettiest of colours for the bath but it left my skin feeling super soft and moisturized. Perfect for a cold night.

Have you tried Yognog? What's your favourite bath product from Lush?
